Prebiotic

Prebiotics are a type of carbohydrate that our intestine cannot digest. They have the ability to selectively modify the intestinal flora, as they are used by probiotics as a food substrate.

In this way, they favour the development of beneficial bacteria in the intestine, decreasing the amount of potentially pathogenic microorganisms.
